Driftwood cottage We couldn't recommend this cottage enough. The standard of accommodation and attention to detail is incredible. The bed was so comfortable, Its the best nights sleep we have had when staying away ever.....
The welcome basket and little extras was lovely. Blankets, towels and treats for our dog were also so thoughtful and a lovely touch.
Claire and Warwick are fantastic host, they made us feel welcome and were incredibly helpful. We will definitely be returning for longer next time because 2 nights was not enough.

Well what a gorgeous cottage, perfect for a couple or a single traveler like me. The decor is lovely, the bed very cozy and at this time of year the heating was just enough. The cottage is ideally situated in Flamborough, for walks to either north or south landing and the lighthouse. Or if you want to travel further, the bus stops are only metres away. Claire and Warwick are great hosts, welcoming you to their cottage, showing how everything works and a lovely welcoming touch is a hamper full of goodies.. drinks, crisps, bread and biscuits. Milk is in the fridge and tea/coffee/sugar is ready and waiting.A definite 10/10 for me and i will certainly be back next year.. Steve, Chesterfield 🤓

Seaglass Cottage. 3 night stay From being very warmly welcomed by Claire and Warwick to being warmly said goodbye to when I left and everything in between, my stay was wonderful. The cottage is incredibly cleverly thought out with bespoke touches of a beautiful wood carved headboard and light fittings to a gorgeous shower room and a well appointed kitchen even having an air fryer. The cottage was very easy to heat and be warm. The outside space was cosy and sheltered. Thankyou so much for creating this little retreat.

The space is lovely and I especially enjoyed the artistic touches in the garden and interior. Every thing was a joy to behold: the seaglass panel, tiles, curtains, linens, pillows. It was blissfully quiet and comfortable. I wish we could have spent more time here! Good restaurants were within walking distance as was the beach. We particularly enjoyed the lighthouse beach for the dramatic coastline, seals and birds.

Seaglass Cottage was a wonderful place to stay for our short stay in Flamborough. It was spotlessly clean, very well maintained and had everything you need for a short break. Claire is an excellent host and great source of information about the local area. We would definitely like to return to Seaglass Cottage in the future.

DISCOVER THE AREA

When you visit, everything you need is right on your doorstep! The village is conveniently located on the number 14 bus route, with a bus stop just 2 minutes from the cottages.

For your everyday needs, the village has a mini Co-op just a 5-minute stroll away. If you’re planning a larger shop, Bridlington offers a choice of supermarkets

There are also some wonderful attractions close by. RSPB Bempton, home to Puffins, Gannets, and other wildlife, is a must-see. The reserve also has a charming café and shop. Sewerby Hall and Gardens is just a short drive away or a scenic 45-minute coastal hike. Explore their fantastic zoo, or check out the fascinating Amy Johnson (the first British female pilot) exhibition, with new displays regularly.

If you enjoy animals, Bridlington Birds of Prey & Animal Park is another fantastic local spot, offering a great experience for all ages. We highly recommend the Meerkat experience if you want something truly memorable!

Bridlington’s seafront and town centre are just a 10-minute drive away, and Filey is around 20 minutes in the opposite direction. Flamborough is also a perfect base to explore the East Coast’s many gems, Whitby, Robin Hood’s Bay, Scarborough. For those who prefer to stay closer to home, there are several great pubs and restaurants in the village, such as The Rose & Crown & The North Star. See Things To Do for more details.

You can also take a relaxing walk along the King Charles Coastal Path, which we love for its beautiful views and wildlife spotting.

For cyclists we are close to the sustrans route 1. You could take a short detour to include Flamborough. Bikes can be kept secure on site during your stay.

A detailed folder with walking routes and recommendations for places to eat, drink, and visit is available in each cottage, or just ask us for more ideas!

Of course, this is fine. But do make sure you allow plenty of time between your expected check in and the delivery slot in case of any travel delays.
