For your everyday needs, the village has a mini Co-op just a 5-minute stroll away. If you’re planning a larger shop, Bridlington offers a choice of supermarkets
There are also some wonderful attractions close by. RSPB Bempton, home to Puffins, Gannets, and other wildlife, is a must-see. The reserve also has a charming café and shop. Sewerby Hall and Gardens is just a short drive away or a scenic 45-minute coastal hike. Explore their fantastic zoo, or check out the fascinating Amy Johnson (the first British female pilot) exhibition, with new displays regularly.

Bridlington’s seafront and town centre are just a 10-minute drive away, and Filey is around 20 minutes in the opposite direction. Flamborough is also a perfect base to explore the East Coast’s many gems, Whitby, Robin Hood’s Bay, Scarborough. For those who prefer to stay closer to home, there are several great pubs and restaurants in the village, such as The Rose & Crown & The North Star. See Things To Do for more details.
You can also take a relaxing walk along the King Charles Coastal Path, which we love for its beautiful views and wildlife spotting.
